Mameko Maeda began her career as an illustrator from 2020. Being inspired by various fields such as music, dance, fashion, anime, subcultures, and philosophy, she creates characters and imaginary spaces that draw inspiration from her influences. In this exhibition she will have over 30 pieces on display including her series of works depicting fashionable people, shaped panel pieces, and her previous works displayed at hotel norm in June 2021. A zine containing a compilation of her works will be for sale, as well as other goods.
Born in 1993 in Tokyo. Graduated from Musashino Art University Department of Design Information. After taking the first term of the “WHITE” illustration course, she began her career as an illustrator in 2020. Her main clients include john masters organics, Isetan, and more. Her hobbies include watching music videos and mountain climbing.
